Helping our patients with their treatment, while we create their new smiles, and getting to know them and their families, are all things I love about my work. The exchanges I have with our patients, whether they’re an adult who wants to share the latest news they heard or read, or talk about their family and hobbies, or a younger patient who wants to fill me in on their latest adventures, are all wonderful. I assist Dr. Dhane during patient procedures, providing him with the support he needs, but at the same time talking with the patient and making sure they’re comfortable and relaxed.
My husband’s name is Gabriel and I have two children, daughter Alex and son Gabriel Jr. Our home is also shared with Rock and Coco, our family dogs. While I love spending time with my family, I also like venturing out to explore new places and things, like parks and antique shops.
When you come to our practice, I’m the first person you’ll meet. You’ll know me because I’ll have the biggest smile on my face; that’s because I love working with and helping people, and because this is such a positive environment in which to spend my days. Meeting new people, and hearing their stories, always fascinates me, and since we care for such a wonderfully diverse group of patients, I’m always learning something new. Here, I schedule patient appointments and take care of our recall system for recalls and retainer checks.
My husband Curt and I have been married for 35 years; we have one daughter, Lacie and one very large cat, Whiskey, who currently weighs 25-pounds! I love riding quads, going camping, and volunteering with the Feed the Hungry program at our church in Puyallup. Oh, and once you’ve met me you can tell everyone that you’ve met someone who can ride a unicycle!
I love coming to work knowing that I get to see beautiful smiles every day. Helping out our patients with their treatment allows me to get to know them a little more. I love to listen and learn about their life. I assist the Doctor in each procedure to help achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. My favorite part of working in orthodontics is taking the braces off. It’s so rewarding to see how happy and confident the patient is.
My husband’s name is Roy. Together we have a 2 year old son named Zeke. We love to make memories, travel and explore new places. We love spending time with our family who live in central Washington together we go out hiking, boating, camping anything outdoors!!
It’s a great feeling that my work allows me to help patients with their financial arrangements for the orthodontic care they need. Seeing the relief on a parent’s face, when we find a plan that works with their budget, because they know the difference that braces will make in their child’s life, is so rewarding. I answer patients’ questions about their insurance benefits, am our practice's bookkeeper, and file our insurance claims, too. I keep busy, but I’m never too busy for a chat!
I have adult children and several grandchildren, who live in the area, and I love spending time with them, doing my best to attend their soccer, baseball, and basketball games. I also enjoy golfing and traveling, and I bake fabulous bread for some of the local espresso stands. I’ll bet you’ve even tried one of my creations!
When I first came to this office I was only an intern preparing to graduate. With so many different opportunities available, it only took one day for me to decide the best fit for me was to be an orthodontist assistant. I fell in love with the family feel and knew I had to be a part of it. The staff and patients welcomed me with open arms and for that I am grateful. When I am asked “Do you love your job?” the answer is without a doubt YES! It is because I love to surround myself with positive people and situations. Watching the excitement of patients who are about to get new braces or getting them taken off reminds me why a smile is on my face the moment I walk through the door.
I am an Army wife and a mother of three amazing children and we are proudly from the great state of Ohio. My main goal in life is to try new things from food to adventures. I love gardening, canning, exploring, crafting, and making people smile. I spend most weekends exploring Washington with my kids while taking in all the sights and sounds that this beautiful state has to offer.
Treatment Coordinator and Practice Manager
I welcome our new patients to the practice and introduce them to the wonder of orthodontics. I love creating relationships with our patients and their families, watching the transformations that happen as smiles develop, and then seeing the incredibly beautiful smiles once the braces are removed. As our practice manager, I make sure that everything here runs smoothly and that our team has everything they need to make your visit a good one. If you ever have any concerns, please come to me and I’ll fix the situation.
My husband, Michael, is serving active duty in the US Air Force. My fur babies, Ruger and Remington, are Brittanys and I love their company. I enjoy keeping active and exploring all that Washington has to offer, from hiking to camping, to riding quads at the dunes.
My work allows me to make new friends every day, and to visit with old friends, too! Here, our patients really do become our friends and we look forward to seeing them at their visits. I treat each patient like a member of my family, and like getting to know every person as an individual. Learning about their lives and hearing the latest news are the highlights of my day. My duties include providing chairside assistance while the doctor cares for patients, whether he’s putting on or removing braces or performing a more complex procedure.
My life is shared with my boyfriend, Ryan, and my two dogs, Betsy and Diesel, who I call my “fur family.” I like the outdoors and particularly enjoy fishing, camping, four-wheeling, and traveling. I’m also partial to spending time with my friends and family, including my two sisters.
